Who we are

Southface Engineering was established in 1996 by Cameron Haines P.Eng. The name is a nod to his passive solar home built on the south face of River Runs Wild farm in Almonte, Ontario. Designed with the purpose of taking pressure off non-renewable energy sources, Southface Engineering brings these same values and principles to all Southface Engineering projects and designs.

"We prioritize the principles of sustainability and efficiency in our designs, ensuring purposeful building systems solutions that are innovative, industry compliant and backed by proven science."
